On June 19th the Little Guys were the host club for the Rods & Woodies Show in Downtown Encinitas.  We had more cars turn up after I put the camera away and I apologize for not bringing it back out to get some shots of Rex & Jeanette's red hot 67 Chevelle or Dan & Paula's 460 inch Ford powered Pinto

It was Norm birthday and a bunch of us went to Giovanni's Italian Restaurant on 101 for dinner and some birthday cake.  They were not ready for the crowd that showed up and it took an hour and a half to get our food after we sat down.  Then we had to wait for our check and when we got out of the restaurant the car show was over.  They must have run out of sauce, my dinner had plain canned tomato sauce poured on it, the eggplant was paper thin and soggy.  They only had one cook on duty and two waitresses, poor planning.

We did get to enjoy the band Morning Glass.  They are a bunch of mature surfers who play some great surfing music.  Fantastic instrumentals and some pretty good singing made for a pleasurable night, despite the dinner fiasco.  Bob & Judy's little girl was excited to have a guitar pick from the band and proudly showed it to everyone.  Your can learn more about Morning Glass by going to their website  www.morningglassmusic.com
