Saturday May 3rd Mike, Bob, Jim, Terry & Norm helped Sharon move her Model AA flatbed truck from her home she had just sold to two locations, her son's garage in Oceanside and a storage facility in Vista.  Did I mention it was in a thousand pieces?

Some of the guys checking out the project ahead.

Norm checks out the hood, while Jim wonders how we will get it all in the trailer.

Jim and Norm hook the rear end up to the cherry picker to load it in the trailer.

Hooking up the chain.

Bob lends a hand while Mike and Terry watch the progress.

Start the lifting.

Two guys working and three supervisors.

Thank goodness for the cherry picker, this rear end weighs a ton.

It's almost in. The frame was loaded first and nicely braced in place.

Mike & Bob make quick work of the front axle.

Perfect fit.

Mike ties down the front end.

More stuff.

The first load is ready, we will need the cherry picker to unload the rear end in Oceanside.

Norm demonstrates his knot tying skills.

Norm makes a final inspection before the first load heads out.

Bob arrives with the trailer and Terry close behind. We had a tour of most of the alleys in Oceanside before Bob found the right one.

Okay it's here, let's unload.

Sharon's son Mark holds the frame while Bob pulls out the cherry picker.

Next comes the frame.

This is one heavy frame.

Into the garage.

Just a few more feet.

Almost in. Hey can you guys get out?

Any bets on when it will be running?

Loading up the cherry picker for phase 2.

It was back to Sharon's for the engine, trans, cab, bed, wood and boxes and boxes of small parts.  The camera was in my truck and I failed to document phase 2, but suffice it to say we had a very productive morning and got everything moved safely without anyone getting hurt or anything getting broken.
