Wow what a great meeting.  Scott McMillen of MGM Plastics was our host (thanks to Lori for setting this up) for a tour of a very interesting facility.  MGM Plastics can make anything that can be made from plastic.  Scott showed the club members lots of neat projects, cool tools and it was a fun filled evening.

Before the meeting, Norm shared his featured article in the Classic Chevy's magazine.

He even made the back cover.

One of the magic saws at MGM, it senses fingers and shuts off before cutting them off.

Some of the Little Guys gathering for the meeting.

Cool rides.

Rex arrives in style.

No plastic in those hot rods, but plenty inside MGM.

Catchin up before the meeting starts.

Scott opened up the lunch room for us.

We all went out to see what the rumble sound was.

It's an LS1 powered Porsche!

Nasty.

The only way to improve on a Porsche is to put a Chevy in it.

Steve arrives in his super hot '41.

Scott starts the tour.

Lots of interest from the members.

Scott really knows his product. His grandfather started the business and his son is being groomed to take over one day.

Precision router.

Example of plastic welding.

Here is a huge gas tank. With a tank like this Rick Bennett could make it to Yuma without stopping for gas.

Example of large table drain made by MGM.

Scott shows the fiberglass spraying machine. Saves lots of man hours.

Fiberglass work area.

Scott shows off one of the buggy molds.

Here are a couple hundred more molds. If he doesn't have the mold you need, he can get it or make one.
