This was a special treat for all the Ford guys.
Hilltop Classics has an incredible storehouse of parts for the '50s through
'70s Fords. Mustangs, T-Birds, Fairlanes, etc. Tons of NOS parts
and tons more of gently used and rebuilt parts. They do everything
from air-conditioning conversions to complete restorations and all sorts of
fabrication. We had a pretty good turnout and most of the members
drove their streetrods and left the door slammers at home. A special
guest, Kathy Hatfield, was there with her beautiful blue '46 Ford 2 door
sedan. Unfortunately Kathy has to sell this beautiful car (check out
our for sale page). Kathy and her late husband Vern Hatfield were
charter members of the Little Guys.
Our host for the night "Chip" was extremely knowledgeable
about Fords and even some "lesser brands" and was a perfect host. We
were treated to a tour of the entire facility and saw some really cool
goodies. It would take a month to see all the cool stuff they have on
display. The bar and neon sign from the old T-Bird diner, old
gas pumps, radios and truck loads of nostalgic items from our youth.
Several of the members are long time customers of Hilltop and all expressed
extreme satisfaction with their work and prices.
