Fall Mountain Run #28

The event gets smaller every year and this year only about half those who showed up for breakfast made the run to Julian.  Steve & Sharon Wenzel brought their beautiful 41 Chevy coupe and their son and his girlfriend in their beautiful black 70 Nova.  Keith & Bev had their backseat in the 52 Chevy full for the trip up the mountain.  Hogan brought the Cougar along with his lovely wife Melissa and two sweet daughters.  Gary Fraker drove the 442 to Julian, but Laura and the girls preferred to ride in their brand new Escalade.  Bonnie and Terry brought the Studebaker and were very appreciative of the great heater.  Red made it as far as Dudley's before heading home with a truck full of bread.  Andy & Judy, Frank, Norm & Diane plus Mike, David & Cyd and Jerry & Maureen got the Dodge running and made it to breakfast but didn't brave the trip to the mountain top.  Those who made it to Julian discovered just how cold it can be.  Gary & Laura headed straight for the shops and bought warmer jackets and gloves.  Despite the cold and rain everyone had a great time and are looking forward to next year.

Hogan's Cougar	On the road to Julian	Only 7 of us made the trip to Dudley's, Red went home from there and the rest braved the weather.	Beautiful scenic trip through the mountains. Trees and wildlife abound.	Stop off at Dudley's for bread and snacks and to use the restrooms.
