Fairwinds Ivey Ranch
Retirement Community Car Show
August 15, 2009
The Little Guys and friends were invited to attend a car show for the residents of Fairwinds Ivey Ranch retirement community. We had about 15 members with their cars attent the event. The North Star band performed live 50s music and entertained young and young at heart with their music. Several couples enjoyed the music and danced, while others enjoyed the great cars and shared stories with the residents. A fully stocked ice cream cart provided loads of great ice cream treats for all and a free lunch of burgers, hot dogs and sandwiches were also provided to the participants. Everyone had a great time and we look forward to coming back again sometime soon. We met several new friends and possible prospective members with some great cars. An old friend Ed White came by with his restored one dollar 72 El Camino, hope to see you and Jan again soon.
