All-American Car Show XII

This is an annual show for our club, because all the proceeds go to support our military.  In addition to the money we paid for our registration, the club decided to pass on the money that we were given by Fairwinds Ivy Ranch for a show at their facility to the USO and Operation Homefront, by giving each a check for $125.  A very eclectic mix of cars from all years, makes and models of American steel.  Weather was perfect, great DJ and extraordinary raffle prizes.  Thanks to the Mopar Club for a great job putting on this wonderful event.  There were lots of active duty military at the show, which was the highlight for me.  Thank you to our military for all they do to keep us safe and free.

THANK YOU for all you do

Gerry dusting off the '55 before the show.

Terry & Bonnie's '50 Stude. A very nice young man came by and told me he voted for the truck. A first for everything, but thanks for making my day.

Keith brought the '46 Ford down from the mountain.

Norm drove the Mustang the half mile from his home.

Tim brought his Mustang today too.

Harry looking for places he missed on his beautiful '32.

Gary, Ariana and Monique got up early for the drive from Fallbrook. Jasmine wanted to sleep in and Laura had chores at Fraker's Acre.

Harry polishes the '32 so much he might just rub the chrome off.

Monique and Ariana doing what they love to do at car shows. They are also excellent at eating ice cream and keeping dad out of trouble.

Tim & Norm.

They saw me with the camera and had to pose. I couldn't resist this great shot.

Andy & Judy with their super clean '29.

Judy worked a year to finish their '29, I'd say it was worth it.

Catching up with old friends.

Love this little '64 Nova. Scott has the build book on this beast that he transformed into a beauty.

Nick built this beautiful '30 Model A. Wouldn't it look great with a Little Guys plaque on it?

Yea, mount that plaque right back here.

Scott's Nova would look pretty nice with one of our plaques too.

This is one clean Chevy.

Here's a great bargain for someone looking for a super clean truck.

For a minute I thought this was Howard's, until I saw the baby blue wheels.

Joe, I took this photo for you. Note the passenger.

Wiley and the Roadrunner out front.

One of only two in existence. A Chrysler with a continental kit. The owner was as nice as the car.

This '47 Chevy is the same basic body style as my '41 Olds. I will look at this photo to motivate me to finish it.

A little more motivation.

SWEET!!! Bob has one of the coolest Nova's on the road. I love this car.

A peek inside the Bob's Nova.

Biscayne with a 409, it doesn't get any better than this.

Our own cakkle fest.

Thanks go to Gary for the shade.

Raffle drawing.

Howard gives Larry two checks, one for USO and one for Operation Homefront.

Far away.

Close up.

Waiting for their numbers, that never came in.

Mr. Clean.

Some really nice young folks from the Coast News want a photo of two bright colored cars for the paper.

Rubin & Efrain chat with the owner of this nice little Falcon.

Can you say "Long and Low"?
