July 14, 2007, was the All-American Car Show IX.  Bill Goldberg, Roger Hedgecock and Skip Hedrich were the celebrities in attendance.  Skip and Wilhelmina brought their world record Bonneville car to the show.  This car went 323 miles per hour at Bonneville Salt Flats.  Bill Goldberg brought one of his cool MOPARs to the show and signed copies of his book.  Roger Hedgecock representing "Homefront San Diego" walked the crowd and received lots of attention from the folks in attendance.  Great show for a great cause, but there were way too many new cars there and several non-American vehicles as well.  Harry and Rita were parked next to a Datsun 280Z, nice car, but last time I checked they were made in Japan.  There were also several dozen brand new factory showroom cars.  There was a bone stock 2007 Jeep and more 2006 and 2007 Chrysler 300s and PT Cruisers than I could count.  Since this show was limited to 250 entries, maybe next year they can only let in classic American cars and keep the showroom stockers in the new car dealer showrooms or in the spectator parking lot.
