Thanks to Joe Free and the Country Gents for
another spectacular event.
Tim, John, Joe Kerr, Jim, Barbara & Gerry got up well before
the sun (and the rest of us) to save us parking spaces in the church parking
lot. About a dozen more Little Guys met with prospective member Jack
Kirkman and some of his friends from "The Club" (an Orange County Car Club) at
Frogy's Donuts for a cup of coffee, a maple bar and gathered to caravan into the
event. There were over 600 classic cars (and a couple VWs and new Toyotas
snuck into the show.) Dianne brought her dominos game and set it up under
the popup. It took almost all morning to see all the cars and visit with
old friends and new. This event just keeps growing and growing every year.
It is amazing how smoothly it runs with so many cars and so few workers.
It is by far the best event in San Diego County for the money.
