Welcome to our Web site! The Little Guys Street Rods is a group of guys & gals from North San Diego County that share a common interest in the building, driving and showing of modified and special interest pre 1974 cars & trucks and Muscle Cars (originally manufactured in the USA in 1973 or earlier). We have been an active club since 1977 and enjoy building and driving our vehicles to rod runs and car events all over southern California. Thank you for visiting our little place on the web, please feel free to contact us if you have any questions, comments or would like to attend a Little Guys meeting or event. We are always looking for good new members interested in a family oriented car club. If you're building a car and have any questions, we have centuries of combined experience and love to share with others with similar interests. Little Guys President Howard Haston presents Mopar Club President Larry Johnson two checks for $125.00 each. The Mopar Club donates the proceeds from this show to Operation Home Front and The USO. The Little Guys wanted to pass on some money we earned from a car show at Fairwinds Ivy Ranch Retirement Community to Operation Home Front and The USO, who do so much to support our military. Great show for a greater cause.
In the Headlights Spotlighting a different member each month. July 2010 Mike Coffin and Lynda Nelson
Mike and Lynda are relatively new to the Little Guys, but have become very active and a great addition to the club.
This is the frame for Mike's project '55 Chevy
The '55 sits in the garage waiting for inspiration, or is it perspiration?
Mike & Lynda couldn't wait for the '55 to be finished, so they picked up this really clean '72 Nova. Mike has lots of plans for this little gem.
The '72 Nova at Vista High School's Auto Shop tour. Tim, the shop teacher, invited the club to tour the facility and to bring our rides to show to the students.
This is where we get our hats, shirts and jackets embroidered.
